Rentalbuddy costs from 299 SEK a month – no commission

Starter, 299 SEK a month excl. VAT: one location with up to 6 locks. Growth, 599 SEK a month: more than one location – as many as you need – or more than 6 locks, with 8 locks included and 120 SEK a month per extra lock. Enterprise: large or custom setups, priced for you.

A location is one place customers pick up from – a beach, a jetty, a store car park or a whole campsite – with its own booking page. Every item customers can book there counts as one lock, and so does every shared door: 4 SUPs in a box with one Igloohome lock on its door count as 5, though you buy one lock. 12 kayaks on their own padlocks are 12 locks on Growth: 599 + 4 × 120 = 1,079 SEK a month. Locks you switch off – kayaks over the winter, for example – don't count, so summer and winter gear can share one plan. Start on Starter and change plan in the admin when you grow.

Rentalbuddy charges no commission and no setup fee, and has no minimum term. You pay a month or a year ahead and can cancel in the admin whenever you like; everything keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for. Your customers pay your price and nothing on top, and your price never depends on how many bookings you take.

Nothing is charged automatically when Rentalbuddy's free trial ends. The trial runs 30 days, or until your rental opens – up to 180 days from sign-up – with no credit card. You choose a plan in the admin when you want to continue. During the trial you can set up one location with up to 6 locks, as on Starter; logins for colleagues open once you choose a plan, and if you want to test a bigger setup, ask us. You don't need a lock to test: a manual lock with a fixed code is all you need for test bookings.

Your customers don't notice: when a Rentalbuddy payment fails, your booking page, confirmations and codes keep working. You have 7 days to fix it – counted from the day the renewal was charged, also on yearly plans, or from the due date on an invoice – before the admin is blocked. Update the card under Settings → Billing.

Stripe's fee on each payment, Igloohome's code fee and the locks, which you buy once.

Yes – Rentalbuddy can invoice your plan instead of charging a card, also in euro. Ask us before you subscribe and we set it up, for example for a municipality or association: contact us. The exception is Igloohome's code fee: Igloohome charges it to a card in your Igloo Connect account, so if you can only pay by invoice, ask us before you buy locks. Businesses in the EU enter their VAT number when they subscribe. No VAT number, as a small sole trader or an association? You can subscribe too – VAT may then be added to the invoice.

Our price is per plan, not per product or per booking: Starter costs 299 SEK (about €27) and Growth 599 SEK (about €54) a month excl. VAT. Directories that list a price per product show an older model. This page is current (updated October 2026).

Rentalbuddy's prices are in Swedish kronor: 299 SEK is about 285 NOK, 200 DKK, €27, £23 or $30 a month, and 599 SEK about 570 NOK, 405 DKK, €54, £45 or $60. Your own prices for customers can be in NOK, DKK, EUR or your own currency.
